The Missing Instructions

The Command-Air USB Link allows the Command-Air to be connected to a PC with a USB cable. You must have USB port on your computer and be running Windows '98 or newer to use the USB Link Program. The included software, once installed, allows you to download your logbooks for viewing and printing from your PC. Use the following instructions to install the program and connect your Command-Air the your PC.

 

To Start the Program:

1. Turn the power on to the Command-Air - Press the Menu button - Press #8 for the Command-Air Link.

2. Plug the USB cable into the PC and into the Command-Air unit.

3. Click the Start on your Windows desktop, click Programs, then click Command-Air USB Link.

4. The Command-Air should connect automatically. If not, click the Connect button on the program - this completes the connection between the Command-Air and your computer.

To Load & Display your Logbooks:

1. Click Load Logbooks - "Busy"will be display along with a progress bar - Do Not Interrupt the process. The Command-Air will display "Downloading, Please Wait"

2. Once the download is complete, the connection between the Command-Air and the PC will be broken, and the Logbook Configuration Screen will be displayed.

To Open a Logbook:

1. Click Display Logbooks - Your Command-Airs' Serial Number will be displayed in the upper right corner. Each Logbook and its current setup will be displayed. The View Log/Logbook # button at the bottom of each logbook column opens the logbook for run viewing.

To Display your Runs:

1. Click the View Log/Logbook # button - All the runs in the selected Logbook will be displayed. You may sort the runs by the criteria found on the screen by simply double clicking anywhere in the column.

2. To print out the run information - click the Print button.  The runs will be printed according to the sort you have in place.

3. Click Close to return to the Configuration Screen.

4. Click Exit to close the program.
